Unlimited fun for children and relaxation for adults - the generously laid out Ried Badesee caters to every taste. Families, in particular, find joy here, experiencing sunny days in cheerful holiday spirits. The Badesee in the picturesque Ried im Oberinntal is undoubtedly a highlight of the region, offering a variety of activities in both summer and winter. The lake is situated at an altitude of 880 m, covering an area of 2.5 hectares with a depth of 4 m. In the middle of the lake lies an island, accessible on foot through knee-high water or by swimming.
A special highlight for young visitors is "Bibi's Water Power". Alongside the mascot Bibi, children can embark on exciting adventures at the playground by the Ried Badesee, featuring 8 water stations.
Attractions range from an impressive 40-meter-long giant slide to inflatable water sports equipment like the Action Tower XXL, Balance Beam, and Wibit Flip in the lake. The water quality is excellent, primarily sourced from the overflow of the Rieder drinking water reservoir.

Highlight am Badesee in Ried
A must-attend is the event series "Lake Sunset", taking place every Wednesday in July and August from 5:00 PM onwards. Visitors can enjoy local bands, refreshing drinks, and delicious snacks, embracing the wonderful days in a relaxed beach atmosphere. This event, now in its seventh edition, also offers a lively program with craft activities and games for families with young ones. The Ried Badesee promises an unforgettable summer for the whole family.
Food
For those thirsty and hungry, the "See-Restaurant" with a sun terrace overlooking the vibrant activity by the lake is the ideal meeting point. Opening hours: Tuesday and Sunday from 4:00 PM. There is also a snack bar open daily from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

There is a large, free parking lot practically right above the lake.

Summer bathing operation: daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Outside of bathing hours, the lake remains freely accessible.
Miscllaneous
Fishing is only allowed outside of bathing hours, and fishing permits can be obtained at the OMV gas station in Ried. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at the lake. Since 2023, there is a pool lift providing barrier-free access to the lake for people with limited mobility.
